The Verdict

The uber popular Merrywell housed inside the Crown Casino in Perth is extra special. Serving delicious pub food and American diner classics with a twist, The Merrywell does one of the best steak sangas in town, but it's got a few other tricks up its sleeve too.

Located in the Burswood Peninsula residential area, and within walking distance to Perth Stadium, Crown Casino and the Crown Towers, STIX Bar & Restaurant offers guests a warm, friendly and local experience. The menu is modern Australian, with a distinct French accent. Noodle 88 is the Asian themed restaurant in the heart of the Crown Casino; designed to turn out quick and easy meals to sustain the punters before they return to try their hand at the various gaming tables nearby. When we stopped in lunch service was about to close but we managed to get in and checked out the menu. Situated on the banks of the Swan River overlooking the Perth city skyline, Crown Metropol Perth offers modern and stylish accommodation within a 15 minutes’ drive from Perth’s International and Domestic Airports. Perth city centre is a 5-minute drive away.

One of those is the Plates with Mates menu. They've got Wagyu mini beef burgers, mac and cheese bites with homemade BBQ sauce, lollipop buffalo wings and more. If you don't feel like sharing, that's okay too. They've got pub grub classics like fish and chips, steak frites with herb butter and fries, an epic chicken parma and a mouth-watering range of steaks. If you're heading to the Merrywell, you better bring a big appetite.
